My review and perspective on model: CHV1210 vacuum cleaner

Everyone knows that I'm not so big on handheld vacuum cleaners. You most often get what you pay for, but there are a lot of people who swear by the power of their hand held vacuum cleaner... so I'll keep this short and sweet.

The Black and Decker CHV1210 DustBuster is a decent enough little machine. It does have a few advantages with its nose cone that can be changed out for wider, or smaller more detailed tasks. That's about the only major difference between this and most every other DustBuster handheld style vacuum cleaner. Beyond that it's pretty average, average performance for its class, average price range, and average battery life. Nothing too exciting to see here.

The Black & Decker CHV1210 12-Volt Cordless Hand Vac has 50% more reach than the previous Dustbuster design for less bending and better accessibility. Lightweight and portable for quick clean-ups! The rotating, slim nozzle targets dirt in tight spaces. Brush and crevice tool accessories are located on-board so there are no loose items to misplace. The wide mouth design means this vac can effortlessly scoop up large debris. Cyclonic action spins dust and debris away from the filter so suction power stays strong. A Translucent, bagless dirt bowl makes it easy to see dirt and easy to empty. Removable, washable dirt bowl and filters allow for a thorough, hygienic cleaning. It uses a 3 stage filtration system that means less clogging and cleaner air exhaust. I can be stored in 3 versatile ways: horizontally, vertically, or mount on a wall. It has a charging indicator light that allows you to always know you have a good connection. The Energy Star approved charging system saves energy and helps protect batteries.

The CHV1210 is a Residential vacuum designed for use in the Residential environment. I have reviewed it accordingly, the price point of the CHV1210 is set for the Residential industry which should be taken into consideration when purchasing or thinking about purchasing this vacuum. Commercial vacuum cleaners may be built to last longer and endure more abuse, but are more expensive and may be lacking some of the luxuries (such as light weight, or low noise) that you are accustomed to. On the contrary Residential vacuums are made at lower price points, lower quality, but are often lighter and quieter to use.
