My review and perspective on model: SV800\VX63 vacuum cleaner

I'm going to say the same thing about this one as I did the Dirt Devil Accucharge and that is STAY AWAY!!! If you must have a stick vacuum go with the Electrolux EL1014A ErgoRapido. Stick vacuums in general are not a favorite of mine. If you want a stick vacuum my suggestion is to really just go with a mechanical non powered one. They're lighter and honestly do the same job just as well. I know that the batteries for these are heavy and that's where a lot of the weight comes from, but you can get an Oreck that does the job 100 times better, but it will cost you quite a bit more. With that said there are a few full size vacuum cleaners in the same price range. Cordless is nice, but the batteries will not last forever, and they are expensive to replace when they die. It's honestly more cost effective to purchase a whole new unit some times, which then makes an Oreck XL 2000 much more appealing since a lot of people report 6 months before the battery fries (if it lasts that long).

The SV800\VX63 is a Residential vacuum designed for use in the Residential environment. I have reviewed it accordingly, the price point of the SV800\VX63 is set for the Residential industry which should be taken into consideration when purchasing or thinking about purchasing this vacuum. Commercial vacuum cleaners may be built to last longer and endure more abuse, but are more expensive and may be lacking some of the luxuries (such as light weight, or low noise) that you are accustomed to. On the contrary Residential vacuums are made at lower price points, lower quality, but are often lighter and quieter to use.
