One of the biggest complaints I get about vacuum cleaners is the weight. Well here is the solution! Oreck's vacuum cleaners weigh only 8lbs, half (or more than half) the weight of your average vacuum. These little vacuum cleaners will get the job done too. They're sturdy enough for commercial work, and light enough to be carried around everywhere, which is why they are a favorite of hotels. For larger areas they can be a hindrance because of they aren't very wide requiring more time and effort to clean an area. The simple design makes these things easily repaired too, which is great for businesses, or anyone who plans to keep their vacuum for more than 5 years.

The XL 2000 is a Commercial vacuum designed for use in the Commercial environment. I have reviewed it accordingly, the price point of the XL 2000 is set for the Commercial industry which should be taken into consideration when purchasing or thinking about purchasing this vacuum. Commercial vacuum cleaners may be built to last longer and endure more abuse, but are more expensive and may be lacking some of the luxuries (such as light weight, or low noise) that you are accustomed to. On the contrary Residential vacuums are made at lower price points, lower quality, but are often lighter and quieter to use.
